The Frame Gallery
406 Main Avenue, Brookings
will host a select exhibit in March.

"Memories of Home" opens Saturday, March 19. Original paintings and drawings will be on display and sale until Saturday, April 9.

Marie confesses that she is blatantly taking advantage of her friends and relatives to bring some of her paintings and drawings to the eastern side of South Dakota.

Jerry Cooley, owner of The Frame Gallery, is offering special discounts on framing when folks stop in to see and buy Marie’s works. She has been working overtime getting reproductions and cards printed up. Just the idea of having friends and relatives stop by has inspired several new works. "Clouds over Codington County" is a new series developed especially for this exhibit. "Edna’s Aprons" is already being snatched up for a book cover.

There will be an Artist’s Reception Saturday, March 19, from 1- 4 p.m. Of course there will be refreshments, lots of chatter, meetings with old friends and new. Marie will be happy to sign reproductions and talk to folks. If you’ve been wondering what all the fuss is about, this is a great opportunity to stop in and satisfy your curiosity.

Register to win a framed reproduction of
"Two and Seven Make a Team".

Talk to Marie about special commissions.

Marie promises that everyone who attends the reception will receive a little "keepsake".

We look forward to seeing you there.
